Closing 2024: Reflections from the Mother Tree Circle and 13 Moon Journal Inspiration for 2025
As I sit here, heart full and mind buzzing with gratitude, I’ve just come out of one of the most beautiful experiences of the year: our closing circle for 2024. This is not just any gathering. It’s a sister circle that has been my lifeline—my thread from the earth, through this plane, and to the sky. We call it The Mother Tree, and it has been a sanctuary of connection and love.
This circle began in April 2022 with five women. In these two and a half years, we have held one another through life, death, and rebirth—both literally and energetically. These women have witnessed, held, and loved me through everything, and I’ve had the honor of doing the same for them.
Here’s the wild part: we’ve never all met in person. And yet, the bond we’ve built is unshakeable, proving that love is powerful and finds us in ways that defy conventional norms. Our connection transcends physical boundaries—it’s a testament to the magic of intentional spaces and the power of showing up for one another.
The Circle’s Impact
The Mother Tree has inspired so much of my work. It gave rise to the idea of creating the online women’s circle membership, my book Reclaiming Circle, and the biannual six-week Women’s Circle Facilitator Training cohorts. Each was birthed from the love and growth nurtured in this sacred space.
Now, as we close 2024, we realized something incredible: we’ve been in 60 circles together. Sixty times we have come together to share, reflect, and burn brightly with the fire of our collective love and resilience. This realization inspired us to take on a new intention for 2025—to move through the year guided by the 13 moons and their energies.
